WE OFFER A RANGE OF SERVICES INCLUDING: IDENTIFICATION INSURANCE VALUATIONS PERSONAL INVESTMENT IDEAS GUIDELINES FOR INDIVIDUAL COLLECTIONS DO NOT SEND PHOTOS TO US WITHOUT MAKING PRIOR CONTACT TO ARRANGE FOR OUR SERVICE.  IDENTIFICATION: Where possible we are happy to identify the Artist, Date or Approximate Age, Publisher, Series Title if Relevant and Subject Matter of any print if we are able to do so. There is a charge of $50 per hour for our services with a minimum charge of half and hour - $25 - payable in advance whether we can identify the print or not. DO NOT SEND PHOTOS TO US WITHOUT MAKING PRIOR CONTACT TO ARRANGE ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR OUR SERVICES. INSURANCE VALUATIONS: Where possible we will provide insurance valuations of replacement value for individual prints or collections. These valuations will be based on the retail market value of the items researched via the internet, our knowledge of retail prices in Japan and via International Auction Houses. These valuations can only be made after receipt of the actual prints at the owner's expense as detailed analysis of condition is an integral part of an items value. Contact us in advance to arrange a valuation and remember the cost of return postage is also payable by the owner. As a guide to fees we charge $75 per hour for all work involved in the valuation and provide Individual Certificates of Valuation based on our knowledge, experience and research for each print when the prints are returned. We will give a quote based on the approximate time necessary to do the valuation and at least half this amount must be paid in advance. The minimum charge for any valuation will be one hour which will need to be paid in advance. No financial responsibility of any kind is implied or accepted by ourselves when these Certificates are issued. PERSONAL INVESTMENT IDEAS: Contact us if you require ideas on what artists, genres and type of Japanese woodblock prints offer the best investments at the time of your inquiry. We are happy to offer our ideas which are based on our knowledge and long term experience in the market. GUIDELINES FOR INDIVIDUAL COLLECTIONS: If you are wanting to start a collection of Japanese Woodblock Prints contact us to discuss the ways in which a collection can be created, documented and organised. We can offer a variety of options for starting and expanding your collection so that you can amass a range of different styles and scenes from a number of different eras. There is a charge of $50 per hour for our services with a minimum charge of one hour payable in advance. No financial responsibility of any kind is implied or accepted by ourselves for any of the services we offer. |
